Rearranging the positions of the panes

You can arrange the positions of the panes in various ways.

To Arrange the Panes

  1. Start dragging the pane that you want to reposition. You will see the following control at the center of the screen or the pane. You also see the individual control at the top, right, bottom, and left.

  2. Drag the pane to one of the controls.

  3. Release the mouse button.

To Arrange the Panes as Tabs

  1. Start dragging the pane that you want to relocate.

  2. Mouse over to one of the controls that appears in the pane, the center of the window, or at the 4 sides of the window.

  3. Release the mouse button.

To Separate the Pane Listed as Tabs

Do one of the following:

  • Drag out at the tab of the pane that you want to separate.

  • Right-click on the tab and select Floating.

You can also make each pane floating or auto hidden. Each pane’s title bar has the following icons.
