Zooming the Camera

Zooming the Camera

When you open a 3D Model file, you will see the 3D Model that fits to the view bounds by default. You can zoom in the camera to make 3D Model larger relative to the view bounds and zoom out the camera to make it smaller.

To Zoom in the Camera

  1. Select Zoom in the Navigate panel of the Ribbon. The mouse pointer changes to: 

  2. Press the left button of mouse and drag up to zoom in or drag down to zoom out.

You can also scroll the mouse wheel up to zoom in or down to zoom out in any mode to the location of your mouse.

To Zoom in to a Specified Rectangle

  1. Select Zoom Rectangle in the Navigate panel of the Ribbon. The mouse pointer changes to: 

  2. Click and drag diagonally to define the zoom area.

  • You can make visible parts’ bounding box fit to the view bounds by clicking Fit to View Bounds in the View panel in the View tab of the Ribbon or double-clicking on blank area.

  • Double-click on a part to fit the part’s bounding box to the view bounds.
