You can also zoom, pan, rotate the camera and other operations using the mouse.

Operation

What it does

Hover

It highlights a part being hovered.

Left-click

It selects a part.

Right-drag

It rotates around the point where the right-click happened.

Right-click

It shows the context menu.

Middle (Scroll)-drag

It pans.

Wheel Scroll Up

It zooms in the camera at the mouse pointer is.

Wheel Scroll Down

It zooms out the camera at the mouse pointer is.

Ctrl+Wheel Scroll Up

It zooms in the view bounds.

Ctrl+Wheel Scroll Down

It zooms out the view bounds.

Right-click

It shows the context menu.

 

The behavior of Left-click&drag depends on modes.

Select Rectangle mode

Left-click-drag creates a rectangle selecting parts within and touching.

Pan mode

Left-click&drag pans around.

Zoom mode

Left-click&drag up zooms in where the left-click happened.

Left-click&drag rotates around the point where the left-click happened.
