Changing the Raster Quality of 3D Model Object

3D Model objects will be placed in the set default resolution quality.

To Change Raster Quality

  1. Select a 3D Model that you want to change the raster quality.

  2. Select another option from the drop-down list.


The default raster quality of 3D Model object can be set from the 3D Properties pane. Please refer to: To Set the Default Properties of 3D Model Object.

 

When you reduce the size of 3D Model in given view bounds, the transparent background may increase, which may overlap with other objects in the 2D mode unnecessarily. You can reduce the size of the view bounds in the 2D mode.

To Reduce Transparent Area in 3D Model Objects.

  1. Select a 3D Model object.

  2. Click the 3D Model contextual tab of the Ribbon.

  3. Click Fit Bounds to 3D Model in the Edit panel.

Example

3D Model object has excessive transparent space.

Fit Bounds to 3D Model was applied.

 

3D Model object’s bounding box in the 2D mode will not get smaller than the invisible 3D Model bounding box with this method.
